The decor is stylish and elegant with panelled walls, parquet flooring, a beautiful fireplace and vast bay windows that let in plenty of natural light. Two large decked terraces, covered and heated in cold weather, afford relaxing views of the Seine River.
Open for lunch and dinner, the Petit Poucet serves a contemporary French cuisine prepared by Chef Eric Chatellard. Our menus comprise fresh ingredients from the market and change according to season.

Amazing Riverside Restaurant Today
First built as a Guinguette in 1910, Le Petit Poucet was a popular venue among the locals who would gather after a long day’s work to enjoy a drink and a dance by the river. We are not sure how the name came to be chosen, maybe this part of the island at the time was a forest and people had a job finding the place … however the area has since become more residential and after being a café for the locals in the 60’s, Le Petit Poucet was fully refurbished and turned into a restaurant in the 1990’s.
